Account Page: Contract Summary

The Contract Summary page lists all data digitized from the selected contract. The summary page is built for large data sets and allows you to quickly view and navigate large tabular information.

Viewing Document Details

You can access the contract summary page from Document Family, to know more, click here. To view Contract Summary, click a document from the document hierarchy.

Actions you can take on the Contract Summary page

On the Document Summary screen, you can do the following actions:

View PDF

To view the original document either click the View PDF icon, or click on a digital snapshot. Note that the document will open up in a separate tab.

Searchable PDF

All new contracts uploaded to our system will be converted to a searchable PDF. Searchable PDFs use optical character recognition (OCR) technology to scan non-text PDFs and identify words, enabling full-text search capabilities.

Benefits:

  • Performs text searches within PDFs using Ctrl + F

  • Works even on scanned or image-based PDFs

  • Maintains original formatting and layout

  • Re-use text from previously signed contracts to apply to a new negotiation

Note: Any documents uploaded after August 2023 will have searchable PDF versions available in the Contract Summary view.

Download Term Details as Excel

Data from the document can also be exported as an excel. Your exports will have links to annotated PDFs which show you the source location from which the data was digitized.

A sample of the downloaded spreadsheet is shown below. Here, the digital snapshots are highlighted in green and provides a link to view an annotated PDF.

If there is any custom / additional data that has been digitized beyond what’s part of the standard data model, it will be found in this section.

Digital Snapshots

All data with Digital Snapshots are highlighted in green or represented with a camera icon.  To view the digital snapshot, hover over the data or the camera icon.

View History

If a term was amended, you will see a “HISTORY” badge next to the current value and by clicking on the badge, you will be able to view all of the previous values prior to the amendment(s).  In the Detailed View section, the same view is accessible next to a value by clicking on the “HISTORY” label.

  • If multiple documents have amended a value, the latest document will be displayed at the top and the oldest will be displayed at the bottom of the pop-up. 
  • Labels clearly call out whether an Amendment changed or added a value.  You will also be able to see dates to understand when the change went into effect.
  • Each row shows the Document Title of the document in the first column.  If you have access to the document, you will see a hyperlink and clicking it opens the Document Family in a new tab.
  • The cells are highlighted if the data is changed from the previous version for easy viewing of amended data.
