Get Notified When New Contracts Enter Your Repository

Never miss when contracts are transferred into Pramata. Set up daily alerts to be notified when new documents arrive in your Repository, or generate reports to track monthly transfer volumes and monitor your contract intake pipeline.

This is made possible by the new "Date of Document Transfer" field, now available in the Report Builder for filtering and tracking new documents.

Set Your Preferred Default Tab for Account Pages

You can now set your preferred tab as the default view when opening Account pages. A visual pin indicator shows which tab you've selected as the default, and you can change this preference at any time.

Benefits

  • Personalized Workflow: Land directly on the tab you use most
  • Faster Navigation: Eliminate extra clicks to reach your preferred view
  • Team Flexibility: Each user can set their own default without affecting others

How It Works: Click the pin icon on your preferred tab to set it as default. The pinned tab will be the first tab you land on whenever you navigate to an Account.

Separate eSignature and Document Intake Connectors

We've split the combined Docusign and Adobe Acrobat Sign connectors into separate eSignature and Document Intake connectors. Organizations can now enable electronic signature capabilities independently from document intake into Pramata's Repository.

What's New

  • Split Connectors - Docusign and Adobe Acrobat Sign each now have separate connectors for eSignature and Repository Intake functionality.
  • Independent Operation - Enable eSignature without requiring the Repository Intake connector, allowing you to deploy eSignature while Repository Intake processes are still in development.
  • Business User Configuration - Configure eSignature connections directly without IT support, reducing setup dependencies.

AI Assist Updates

  • Updated AI Assist Welcome Questions - Reduced from four to two universally applicable questions: "Summarize the payment terms" and "What clauses did the amendments change?" to ensure all users see relevant suggestions.
  • Improved Visual Indicators for Key Terms Mode - The document capacity meter now clearly displays when the system has automatically switched to Key Terms Mode. This visual enhancement helps you better understand which mode you are in so there is no confusion about what context AI is pulling from.

Contract Lifecycle Management

Docusign Integration for Contract Requests

We've enhanced the contract signature process by fully integrating Docusign within Pramata's CLM platform. This workflow eliminates platform switching and accelerates deal closure through a unified workflow.

Key Features

  • Seamless Document Access - All files previously uploaded into the Contract Request are available for selection when initiating Docusign eSignature, eliminating the need to download files to your computer and re-upload them into Docusign.
  • Flexible Recipient Management - From within Pramata, control recipient signing sequence or allow simultaneous signatures, and personalize agreement messages just like you would do it in Docusign.
  • Integrated Status Tracking - Monitor Docusign eSignature status directly within the Contract Request interface through all stages: Draft, In Progress, Completed, Expired, or Cancelled.
  • Automated Post-Signature Processing - When all signatures are collected, the Contract Request automatically closes and the signed document is automatically uploaded to the Repository.

This eliminates the previous multi-step process of downloading, uploading, and manually coordinating between platforms, keeping your entire contract workflow centralized within Pramata.

Requestors Can Now Be Assigned as Assignees

Organizations can now configure certain types of requests to be owned and managed directly by Requestors, eliminating handoff bottlenecks for routine contracts while maintaining Legal Team oversight for more complex requests.

What's New

  • Full Request Management - When Requestors become Assignees, they gain full access to edit requests, update status, send for approvals, and manage the complete lifecycle, eliminating handoff delays for routine requests
  • Automatic Assignment - Rules can be configured to auto-assign requests to Requestors when criteria are met, allowing routine contracts to complete in hours instead of days
  • Admin Control - Admins can determine which types of requests can be owned and managed by Requestors through configuration
  • CRM Integration - Requestors can manage all actions if they’re the Assignee through Pramata’s CRM integration (if the user has access).

Example Use Case: A salesperson submits an NDA request and can now auto-receive the contract, trigger approvals if required, and route for eSignature directly from their CRM - completing the process in hours rather than days.

Automate Approvals via Approval Templates

Create reusable approval templates that automatically set up the right approvers when you're ready to send a contract for approval. Instead of manually selecting the same people and writing the same comments every time, templates do the work for you.

What's New

  • Reusable Templates - Set up approval workflows once with the right approvers, routing order, and standard comments, then reuse them automatically for similar contracts.
  • Smart Auto-Fill - When you click "Send for Approval," the system detects your contract details and instantly populates the matching approval workflow.
  • Flexible Triggers - Templates activate based on contract type, value, department, or other criteria you choose
  • Easy Management - Create and organize all your approval templates in one place.
  • Review Before Sending - Auto-populated workflows can be adjusted before sending if exceptions are needed.

Example: You create an Approval Template that requires any Vendor Agreement over $75,000 to go through VP of Procurement approval. Now, when a new request enters the system for a $100,000 Vendor Agreement, the system automatically detects this matches your template criteria and instantly populates the VP of Procurement as an approver with pre-written review comments. The assignee can review, make any needed changes, and send for approval with one click.

Updated Doc Versions & Attachments Tab Behavior

We've modified the “Drafts” section of this tab to allow users to track both "Contract Drafts" and "Supporting Documents" in a single "Documents" section. Users can now upload all document types in one place and distinguish between them using the new "Document Types" classification system.

What's Changed

  • Unified Upload Section - "Contract Drafts" section renamed to "Documents" and now accepts all document types.  Upload both contract drafts and supporting documents in the same area.
  • New Document Types - Replaced "Document Source" field with clearer categories:
    • Draft Contract (Internal Version) - Internal contract drafts meant for circulation within your organization
    • Draft Contract (External Version) - Contract drafts received from external parties or sent to
    • Supporting Document - Additional documentation related to the contract request
  • Clear Identification - Document Type column shows what kind of document each upload is.

Issues Fixed

Issue Fix
AI Driven Repository
Reporting > Reports: Contract Term and Renewal key term is not visible in the filters when using the Clause Analysis Model, impacting report creation. Add the Contract Term and Renewal key term to the available filters list for the Clause Analysis Model in the report generation interface.
Reporting > Reports: Reports containing table data export incorrectly to Excel, causing data misalignment where cell content spills into adjacent columns or some entries go missing. Properly handle special characters and line breaks, ensuring table data aligns correctly in columns without overflow or missing entries.
Reporting: Scheduled report emails export all columns in the CSV, ignoring the selected column configuration set during report setup. Scheduled report now displays only the saved column selection and only include the configured fields in the exported CSV.
Search: Text search or Document Title links incorrectly route users to AI Assist tab instead of the expected Signed Contracts tab with document details. All document and text search links are now updated to navigate to the Signed Contracts tab instead of using the default landing page route.
Reporting > Agent Powered Reports: Citation text tooltips fail to display on hover in Agent Powered Reports, preventing users from viewing full text content. Enabled default text tooltips for citation fields in Agent Powered Reports to match behavior with standard report types.
AI Design Studio
AI Agents: Agents that are not marked as Favorite are displayed in alphabetical order instead of the order specified in AI Design Studio settings. Unfavorite Agents are now shown in the same order as defined in the AI Design Studio settings.
AI Assist: Error appears even when the selected contract is within the optimal document range for analysis and the message incorrectly states a 250-page limit instead of 100 pages. Updated the system to handle formatting better and corrected the error message to reflect the actual limit of approximately 100 pages.
AI Assist: "Show More" button incorrectly appears in Agent List when fewer than 6 Agents exist, misleading users about available Agents. Hide "Show More" button when Agent count is below the display threshold of 5 Agents.
Playbook: Quick Response feature in Playbook Creator displays vertically instead of expected horizontal orientation. Changed Quick Response layout to display horizontally as expected by users.
Contract Lifecycle Management
Queue: Popup window remain active after Contract Request reopening. Ensured popup and loader components are properly reset/closed during Contract Request reopen workflow.
Contract Request auto generation fails for accounts with "&" in the name, blocking users from creating drafts. Handled special characters in account names so auto generation works regardless of characters used.
AI Negotiator for MS Word
The Add-in hangs when processing documents preventing AI Negotiator from completing analysis. Updated the Add-in to handle nested tables correctly, ensuring smooth processing and successful completion of AI Negotiator analysis.
Checklist outputs from the AI Agent appeared misaligned when clauses were changed or added. Adjusted the checklist output to maintain proper alignment, ensuring consistent formatting even when clauses are updated.
